Application challenge
Moving equipment needs stable contact points and serviceable seals.
Industrial EquipmentMachine housings and controls face vibration, dust, repeated opening and, in some locations, oil or cleaning-fluid exposure. Pads and gaskets need to match the actual contact load, fluid and temperature rather than a general material label.
BISCOTECH helps select foam and rubber grades, then converts them into die-cut pads, gaskets, adhesive-backed strips and laminated parts based on drawings and assembly requirements.
Typical applications
Sealing and cushioning interfaces in industrial equipment.
Converting and customization
Delivered in the format your production line needs.
BISCOTECH can select suitable material thicknesses and configure adhesive backing, laminated layers and converted geometry around your drawing and assembly requirements.
Application example
Example: an industrial access-panel gasket.
A machine access panel may need a replaceable gasket that reduces dust entry and panel rattle while allowing routine maintenance.
Review the panel gap, closure force, vibration and any oil or cleaning-fluid contact, then compare compatible CR, silicone or EPDM grades.
Check compression, maintenance cycles and compatibility with the actual fluids and surfaces before confirming production parts.
FAQ
Common questions about material selection.
Which foam should be used near oil or cleaning fluids?
CR foam may be considered for some oil-exposed cushioning applications, but compatibility depends on the specific fluid, temperature and grade. Identify the exposure and validate samples. PU, silicone and EPDM can be selected for other interfaces according to their individual properties.
Can you provide converted or die-cut parts?
Yes. We support die-cut gaskets and pads, slit rolls, adhesive backing and laminated foam or rubber constructions based on drawings and samples.
What information is needed for material selection and a quote?
Please share a drawing or sample, dimensions, compression gap and load, temperature range, exposure conditions, adhesive surface and estimated quantity. Include any target ingress protection or flame rating; material properties and assembled performance need validation for the chosen grade and design.
